Solid park for an end of day session. Clean views for an awesome sunset. **Be alert during little kid hour** The playground right by the skatepark seems to spill kids out in packs. The park can be congested with little ones with no sense of awareness. You'll get a peloton of kid bikes shutting down any lanes to skate. Once bedtime hits, they disappear. The hubba is a bit on the smaller side and sits right beside a long run 4 stair. The euro is right beside that. Definitely aimed to be more of a learning progression park. It can keep veteran skaters engaged, but doesn't have a lot of options for going big at all. The flat section is on the west side and is pretty well laid out to allow a couple of skaters to be active at the same time. The park can feel congested fairly quickly and tends to have a wait to hit the euro most of the time. The bowl is a three leaf clover with the third dropping deeper. It's easy to drop in, push around the corners and really maintain speed. Smaller than other city bowls for sure though. Similar in size to the Canmore park. Bring a broom and pan if you want to get serious though. It's starting to get debris buildup, as I imagine plenty of little kids will slide in and run around, as well as the wind blowing in mulch. It's a well laid out park that will help develop a lot of South end skaters in the city. It's also worth a visit if you find yourself living further north. There's a sweet looking playground right beside it. Didn't get a chance to look closely, but seems like the development is aimed to service multiple ages in a family. Your teenager can skate while your little kid runs around the playground. There's some nice grass for a picnic in-between.

*parents!!* if your child does not understand skatepark etiquette, please just take them to the playground, or better yet, teach them skate park etiquette!! (Ramps are not slides, no climbing on obstacles, wait your turn, call your drops, no snaking) It’s a truly amazing park with a solid street section and a super well made bowl, just lack of parents parenting their children tend to ruin your session.

This skatepark is fun for all levels of skateboarders. There’s a good mix of small/medium sized street obstacles and a small bowl with good transitions. The only complaint I have is the use of mulch in the landscaping around the park. It constantly ends up on the concrete and creates a an unnecessary hazard for skateboarders. I’d recommend only grass or artificial turf around the borders of all skateparks for future builds. Bring a broom for sure.
