Grew up here, watched em build it, rode BMX heavy back then. Used to be illegal to ride a bike in there. The cops would line kids up, give them all a criminal records for trespassing, confiscate their bikes even. Kids just riding bikes doing something good and you wanna arrest them for riding in the park... I love this neighborhood. Watched it grow from just a McDonald's, Burger King, Shell, and stop signs on Cortaro and I-10 in this beautiful neighborhood. This is a great park that brings people together in great ways. I rated a 4 cause obviously this skatepark has flaws. The stairs need to go. Fence taken out or pushed back. Transition from roller to the floor of the bowl smoothed out... Thanks for the skatepark, this neighborhood needs it! Shame on the police! This is a law enforcement neighborhood they all live here tons of em. Shame to arrest and harass kids riding bikes in your own neighborhood. Marana PD doesn't have the best reputation. ---Your friendly old retired park rat.

This skatepark is pretty bad, the layout makes no sense. Some of the transition is okay. If you only skate street I'd stay away

Clean and secure, well lit and facilities and fields well maintained, covered playground a Plenty of trash bins too
