We’ve had such a great experience with The Sk8 Coach here in San Diego. We love coach Ryuu! He stays on top of the schedule, any changes and updates- he also keeps my five year old motivated and gaining skills. I would reccomend this to every mama in San Diego and if you can use Charter School Funds- Do it! We are a PCA fam and use our funds for these private lessons.

I’d highly recommend Coach Matt! My kids have progressed so much in their skateboarding with his help. Coach Matt brings a great balance to his teaching as he challenges the kids to try new things and push their skills, but he is also kind and encouraging, always keeping things positive. We do the small group lessons and he does an awesome job of assessing each student’s level and tailors their instruction to what they should be working on. The kids are having fun and learning new skills every week.

Matt is the perfect coach for your child whether you are brand new to skating or not! He is very patient, kind and encouraging with them. My son is always excited to go to his lessons and we love that Matt that is experienced in helping your child to learn! We always thought we would teach our son to skate ourselves but my son has learned so much so fast having Matt as his coach! He also tends to listen to him more than us haha. He also is partnered with some charter schools which makes using your funds easy! Would definitely recommend trying out one of his classes for your child!
