Centennial Skatepark aka Trails, is a 17,000 Sq.ft. skatepark built by Architerra Group in 2004. This one is a perfect example of isolating the street, transition, and beginner features. I'm not sure if that's good or bad! I love the transition section. This area has a large waterfall puddle connected to a rarely used bowl. Most people do flyouts! I'm usually skating the handicap bowl though. This one is super fun! Ever notice how this handicap bowl looks very similar to the one at DPark? This one was designed / built by the same crew of people who built Denver Skatepark! The street features are kinda split up into three smaller areas. The curved ledges look cool but the stacked ledges are skated much more. That pit of handrails is fun, but that tall one is useless. Seems like the banks are skated more than the rails. I personally think the design of the entire street section limits flow and creates traffic. One of the most popular things to skate here is actually the flatbar in the beginner section! There are also a few puddles and a bank-flat-bank/ledge fun box.

Fun park. I've seen everyone from beginners to experts here. Evenings can get crowded but nothing crazy. The regular teenagers have been cool, helped my son with his technique, etc. All in all I'm very impressed with the facility and those who use the park. That said, it's a skate park. If you are worried about hearing the F-bomb or smelling some herb occasionally this might not be the place for you.

Kids enjoyed themselves, and they are beginners. Just took a scooter and skateboard. Some hills are steeper than others, so be mindful because kids tend to be risk takers...
