Beautiful open space featuring sports fields, play equipment, picnic rotunda and epic views of Pikes Peak. Adjoined to a school, Steston park has a baseball field, soccer field and multiple sets of play equipment. It borders a beautiful creek with walking trails and tranquil atmosphere. Highly recommend taking a stroll along those trails! The park includes multiple wide open spaces, ideal for kicking a ball around or other similar outdoor games. A skate park is also available for use, with a basic quarter pipe and grind bar. There is free parking available, but not a huge amount, so be ready to find a nearby curbside spot if the designated park parking is full. There is a portaloo at one corner of the park at the time of writing this review, but I'm not sure if it's always there.

Too many people treat this place like it's their own personal dog park and it's just not safe. There are dog droppings all over the place that nobody cleans up. My husband witnessed two off-leash dogs viciously fighting with one another recently. We have leash laws and dog parks for a reason, people. They don't need to be let loose in children's playgrounds.

I love a park with a view, and it has both a big kid play area and a little kids one. There is also tons of room to run and play.
