This park is relatively crowded based on its size. But I can't minus points for that, it means it's a good park. Great for learning. I'm learning how to skate transition here in my 30s, the mini ramps are excellent, the hip is great as well. The flat ground box and flat rail are awkwardly placed. I suggest a different park of those are your primary features you want to work on.

It's a fun, popular, little skatepark where the pros outweigh the cons. The downsides: It's missing a few key features that made the old skatepark in this city park so great - mostly the spine ramp and shotgun rail. The concrete surface is very slick but incredibly smooth, while the sidewalk and parking lot are rough but easily skateable. The layout is decent, though it is cramped, causing people to start in odd locations to gain speed for obstacles. When there are five or more people using the skatepark, it feels crowded. It could also use more lighting at night (the urine colored parking lot lights work, but just barely). While under construction, the park builders were quite rude and mean to those of us skating over to take a peek. The good stuff: It's insanely fun. Give it some time and go often before forming an opinion. You can learn ramp tricks easily here on the smaller quarter pipes, then tske them to the mini ramp. There's also some good drops, ledges, rails, a perfect little pyramid hip, a quick and steep mininramp, that weird thing in the middle, and some fantastic curbs. Trash cans to throw your junk away are also provided. The locals are always ripping it up and are genuinely very kind and happy to have a little spot to roll. They are what makes this park so great. Respect the skatepark and those who use it and have some fun.
