The Danbury skatepark is kinda rough it needs a remodel, since now the concrete had a lot of ruble on the concrete and it really needs a touch up between the concrete slabs it’s pretty crusty. The parking also is terrible everything close by is paid parking and it’s 1.50 a hour which is nuts. The closest free parking I found was neighborhoods in center street or any street roads with houses on that side south east from the park. The park needs to be maintained. Also the ramps are like lifted off the ground like almost a full cm it’s hard to go onto the ramp. Only thing good about this park is the quarter pipe.

This place is perfect for skaters. Next to the rail road station. Small but big enough for beginners and intermediate level skaters. Bring your own gear non supervised. Don't litter in the park please!

Park is extremely depressing. Parks and rec has no idea what they are doing the concrete on the road is smoother than the ground at the skatepark. Every ramp is way too close to each other there is no space for everyone to skate freely. I have been skating the park since it first opened and everyone that goes there hates it. We only keep going because there isn’t a lot of places to skate unless you have a car which a lot of the youth does not have. I have a car and I can tell you personally it’s the worst skatepark I’ve ever been to in my life. I live really close and dread it every time I go. I was born and raised in danbury Ct and the skate community has been asking for a park for over 15 years! It’s pathetic that the city hasn’t done anything to make the skatepark better. The fences are all out of place. The city of Danbury really should invest time and money into the park because it could really bring a lot of revenue and the skateboard community would grow because there’s a lot of kids that skateboard in Danbury. we all deserve a better park.I don’t recommend anyone skate this place it’s a huge waste of time.
