As of October 1, 2024 the new Torrington Concrete Skatepark is open for use. The brand new skatepark was completed by New Line Skateparks and is now in Elise Besse Park on the corner of Winthrop Street and Major Besse Drive in front of Torrington High School. Grand Opening event November 2, 2024!

Absolutely fun park with a variety of options and a nice bowl in the middle . You can skate every which way in the park Good learning obstacles and also some small to big but mellow transitions. Can get packed after school heavy. Would recommend going before school gets out

Fun place to take the kids! You can play on the small playscape, or watch a game of baseball. During the winter they turn it into a small skating area, as well as a sledding spot for local residents. Enjoy year round!!
