I'll give it 4 stars cause let's be honest it is pretty. The smooth surface is the first thing that stands out and the beautiful location is second. Well maintained and no vandalizing either. I feel that beginners and pure street skaters might be less at ease since there are 2 main "corridors" that skaters follow to go from one end to the other. If you can't grind a coping on transition, there won't be much to push you back once you've reached the end of the park. Also, despite the nice surface it's not built to practice flatland because you'll fast get in the way of skaters following the two main routes. You're almost put in the position of having to stay in motion and do lines in this park. If you start from the middle of the park on the flat (to do a wheelie for example) , there will be skaters dropping in from behind you on the bank or transition. Other than that, quite a nice park for those who can skate it.

The new area is really nice! Very clean, very well made. Nice rail and ramps. The older DIY area is a little scuffed but there's way worse in CT.

Very fun the diy area isn’t the best and when it turns 12:00 it is infested with scooter kids but ignoring that this was a great skatepark
