Ignore the other reviews because they are mostly from parents who have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to skatepark design. This skatepark has a very bizarre design with lots of small issues that will drive skateboarders crazy. The bowl is not built with a consistent radius meaning that the flat bottom transitions into the walls with a sudden change in angle. Thus it feels more like a drainage ditch than a bowl. Some ledges are completely unskateable due to their heights and positioning (run up) yet they still have metal coping on them making them a waste of material. Other obstacles, particularly stairs and gaps have large cracks right where you would ollie, making them extremely difficult or too long to skate. There are some fun aspects to this park but the construction is awful. The parks in Elk Grove and Palatine are much better.

Too many ledges, not enough ramps coping is misplaced in the bowl but other than that pretty good skate park - per the 8 yr old scooterer

This place is awesome. A lot of flatground, stairs, rails, and even some bowls. Great place for people to hang out and have a good time.
