This park's got character and personality! Best spot in KC. I don't typically feel compelled to leave reviews for skateparks, but I want to make it known how important Penn Valley is to the local skate community. Let's keep it alive!

One of the oldest skateparks in the greater Kansas City area. It has a large bowl and some pretty steep banks. If you're a new skater, then this park may be quite intimidating. But nothing in life is easy, so keep trying to challenge yourself! My only complaint is that the lights don't seem to be on in the mornings. I know the lights have worked in the past, so I'm not sure why they aren't on around 6am.
