Great park! It has a big play structure for big kids and small one for small kids, swings, small splash pad, ball fields (basketball, baseball, soccer), open grass area, small exercise station, skate park, parkour area, and lots of benches and some picnic tables. So pretty much something for everyone. Most streets around are parking by permit only, but the school parking lot is open during the summer, on all weekends, and weekdays after school hours.

Not a skater but I'm just happy seeing young people playing and doing cool ollies and such. Every time someone calls the cops on them for being too loud or whatever I'm just angry. Let the people skate and do parkour. Luckily it hasn't seemed to happen much in the last few months. I would much rather kids play in a park together, especially after 2 years inside with the pandemic. Makes me happy seeing the teens happily skating and doing those lil jumps in the basketball court. Keep it up, kids!

A very nice park in Sommerville, plenty of space for kids to play and small splash pad.
