Cockeysville Skatepark

Cockeysville Skatepark in Baltimore, MD, is a solid spot for shredders looking to hit some smooth concrete and well-designed transitions. With a 3.8-star rating from 25 skaters, it’s got enough flow to keep you rolling, but don’t expect it to be the only game in town—Baltimore's got plenty of street spots to check out afterward.

This park needs an update. Simple and clean would be best. The ground is rough and need softer wheels here. Its too cluttered with old school metal ramps that are redundant and in each features own way. Best way to go would be NEW concrete with a Portland smooth cement finish on top. Like it's supposed to be, then we need some good long round rails, concrete ledges for a nice smooth grind instead of this rusty metal stuff that's there now. A decent bowl drop in would be nice on one side and some stair drops with rails would be perfect. Everywhere else even poor communities get new skate parks for their people to use, but hopefully they'll wake up one day and decide to upgrade some things in the areas. Schools need it too.

Crowded layout, rough surface (bring your soft wheels), somewhat repetitive, mini ramp is a good height but could use more flat. This is an ok spot to goof around if you are local but not worth a drive. County basically threw some prefab ramps into an unused parking lot and called it a day.

The layout is super crowded, and it's tough to get a decent line going. This is made worse by the fact that the pavement is that super rough parking lot material, so you lose speed real fast and pushing feels like you are in sand. There are a couple ledges and a flat-ish bar near some quarter pipes you can drop in from for speed though. And a pretty huge mini for a park like this. Would not travel more than 10-15 min to but would skate again if it was very close to me (it's not).
