It takes a village Skatepark is practically brand new. It opened in 2023 and was designed by Tony Hawk. It's located at McClellan and Jefferson and is so slept on. This skatepark is like a hidden gem, almost no one knows about it so all the equipment is crispy. The neighborhood of East Village/Little Village is being revitalized with millions of dollars being invested in infrastructure, to support the construction of custom built houses and the repopulation of this little corner of Detroit. This entire neighborhood is clean and safe and being rebuilt from the ground up.
