This brand new miniramp in North Omaha is really nice and really well-made, big props to the Skatefest guys and everyone else who worked on building it. Apart from skating the first part of Roberts Park's snakerun like a miniramp, this is Omaha's first ever actual miniramp in any of its parks, which is surprising. I'm really excited with the idea and possibility to now get decent at miniramp skating and seeing what new tricks I can learn on here. That said, as nice and well-made as this is, I simply cannot in my skatepark reviews give a rating higher than 3 stars for a park that's simply one thing and one thing only. The one thing here is great and made incredibly well, easily a 5-star miniramp, but I can't rate the overall "park" any higher due to the lack of anything else to skate here. That's not the fault of anybody or anything other than the lack of space and further budget to make anything else than a singular miniramp here. If someday this miniramp inspires a possible expansion across the street in the actual Kountze Park where there appears to be plenty of room for the creation of a larger, more varied skatepark, or anywhere else in Omaha for that matter, that will be a win for all.

A dream come true! This mini ramp is very smooth and wonderful to skate. Omaha is very lucky to have this public skatepark.
