A park of this type is better than not having any park for the locals of Carter Lake, but a park of this type just scratches the surface of what a skatepark can be. I'm not at all a fan of skateparks that are just plastic/metal/wooden ramps built on top of a concrete foundation, but I've seen a lot worse of parks of this type as well. For what it is, this park has a decent layout with some okay ramps and rails, but I'd much more strongly recommend the drive into Omaha for either the Roberts or Seymour Smith parks if you're serious about skating.

The park is nice , clean and right on the lake. Has bathrooms. And picnic tables and a play area people were boating and fishing
