If you’re heading to Omaha and looking for a great spot to skateboard, you should definitely check out 20th Street DIY (Lynch Park). This park has a unique history and a strong community vibe. It’s a DIY skate park that the local skateboarders have built and maintained themselves, making it a special place to visit.

The story behind this place definitely is an interesting one for local Omaha skaters - it started out as a DIY park, but then the city cleared it out before it was eventually rebuilt it to what it is today. I'll be interested to see how it further develops from here, and as it develops I would love to raise my rating of it, but as it is, rating just what's there now is generously worth 3 stars. A small hip, a quarter pipe, and a handful of ragtag street obstacles isn't quite my idea of a well-made skatepark, but the history of it and what it means to my local skate community definitely makes it worth supporting further development on.

Traveling for work and came to Omaha for awhile. Stopped in one of the local Shops and was told to check out this little community created park. People there are awesome, awesome community vibe. Pretty small, bit of flat land stuff, few rails and some.quarter pipes. Good vibes. Good people. Come skate here.
