Currently in renovation, I would assume. At least the weather was nice and I enjoyed the 47 min cruise to a closed park :^))) It'll be ready by September UPDATE: 20211017 Park is still closed for renovations. I've tried to edit the site so it'll show that it's closed but somehow it keeps rescinding it and now apparently it's 'open'. It's not. Also, if it is, post a picture so I can go already lol

The new park is a ton of fun! Never went to the old one, but the redesign made the park super smooth and it flows well!

Update: Park has been completely renovated summer of 2021. It is finished now and people are skating it even though it still says that it is closed. Should be open "officially" for 2022 but the skatepark looks great!!!! Pre 2021 renovation: Park could use some improvements. The floor is cracked and coming off in many places but still smooth where it's not. Nice to have a skatepark nearby though much appreciated.
