The Barkin Basin Dog Park next to W. Wayne Bunker Park is awesome! It has three huge, separate, fenced in areas with natural turf. There’s shade and multiple seating areas in each of the three zones, along with drinking water fountains, poo bags, and trash cans. I’ve been to a lot of dog parks during my travels around the US and Western Canada, and this is the largest one by far, and one if the nicest, too.

This is the best maintained and beautiful park in the city, hands down. I’ve visited most parks in town, and this one is consistently top notch. I go there every morning and sometimes in the afternoon. Very green and great for most activities. You can even see Red Rock from there. Big recognition to those who take care and maintain the park. Fantastic work.
