I love coming to Canarsie skatepark. The locals don’t make you feel out of place regardless of your skill level. They’ll even lend a hand in offering supportive advice on handling tricks on your board. Let’s not get carried away though, this skatepark caters to all walks of life from your morning workout classes, to bmx riders whipping up some cool tricks. You have walkers and many more! I do wish the parks dept in this section would keep the skatepark more cleaned up as it becomes hazardous when we have fallen twigs and branches laying out in the open. Besides that it’s a cool place to check out of your in the area tucked away in the corner of Seaview Park. Their are restrooms for all in close walking proximity. There are no delis close by however they do have icy and and ice cream stands throughout the park in case you get parched. 😎

A really fun skate park in an interesting area of Brooklyn. If you want lots of transition, this is not the place for you, a few decent ledges. Various rails and Hubbas. A very good angled manual pad. A few fun banks. I spent a couple hours here and would definitely skate it more often if I lived closer.

There is a great little playground just across the field from the skate park called Canarsie Playground that's the best I've seen in Brooklyn so far. It's not in Canarsie Park by 102 st but close to the end of Remsen, for some reason Google is not letting me add it as a separate place. It is a gem for little children who need a fun safe place to play. There are also large grass fields where kids can run and play on too.
