As a skater I can tell you this park is like, dog shi. This park wasn’t built by people who skate. There’s a huge patch of grass in the middle with a rail over it. There’s no transition into any the ramps but one. It’s somewhat fun going for your first time but having that as your local skatepark would be unfortunate.

Closes at dusk. A friendly police officer came by and locked the bathroom fifteen minutes after sunset. Clean with no graffiti.

I grew up during the days of being harassed by the police for skateboarding. It makes me incredibly happy to see our small town encouraging all types of physical activity; allowing creative expression for the youth of all interests!
