I skate this park alot it's a pretty decent park but the thing is that the older guys who skate there are mean to me and my friends for no really good reason at all. All they do is drink and talk and don't even skate. I'm not trying to be a complainer but there just annoying 😒

I've seen a handful of negative reviews about the skatepark, so I thought I'd share my experience. I've been there dozens of times with my 4 and 7 year old at the skatepark... one on a board, 1 with a scooter. Anyone who's been there at the same time has been super nice to us, and understanding of the kids' learning. There have also been a few times when people approached my son and offered him pointers for skateboarding. Are there drugs in the area? Yes. Has it ever been a problem while we've been there? Absolutely not. The playground and splash pad are also quite nice.
