The park is great. The homeless unfortunately have taken over. It's impossible to not pay attention to the homeless standing by you car, wondering if they will try and break in while you're not looking. Not sure why it is appropriate to have the homeless sheltering in the parking lot next to the skatepark. Don't bring the kids unattended. Scary stuff.

Cool skate park. I haven't been to many, but seems pretty stellar. There are two large pool areas and a third smaller pool that could all be linked together if you are really good. Concrete is all in good shape. There were quite a few leaves piled up in some of the features, but it's Fall so what do you expect? There is a public bathroom available. The park is right next to City Hall and there are like 20 cop cars parked there so I think it's safe :D. I brought my 3yo and 4yo and the other kids that were there skating were cool about my kids taking up some of the space while riding their bikes.

This park is poorly designed with some features being unusable given their placement and geometry. This is a classic example of trying to cram as many obstacles as possible in the park (an early 2000s problem) instead of emphasizing flow and space. Wouldn't recommend the trip given how many other incredible skateparks oregon has to offer.
