This place is awesome. Huge bowl, small bowl, rails, full pipe. The place is good for skate boarders, bmxers, scooters, and kids just make sure you're respectful and stay out of the way of the folks using the park with wheels. I have been happily surprised to only have good interactions here with other riders.

Pitcher Park has one of the best bowls for skating in Pittsburgh. This bowl flows super well and is fairly friendly to all levels of skaters, beginners can start at the waterfall, there is steel coping for those who aren't comfortable and plenty of pool coping for advanced skaters. Note that there is mellow pool coping to drop in near the shallow end to practice. There are no bathrooms near by, you must walk down the hill to find the nearest one. Water is hard to find, the fountain is busted so you must either bring your own or go to the mini golf place if it's even open. The street section of the park is fun, it takes getting used to finding the right flow. The locals host a July 4th competition/event each year as well.
