Skatepark has fallen into a state of disrepair (hasn't been pressure washed im years, obstacles falling apart, concrete cracked and seperated). Much like every other facility here on Fort Jackson maintenance has not been a priority. Not sure what MWR funds are being used for, but it absolutely is not going back into the amenities.

This skatepark is at Ft. Jackson! It’s free, but you do have to be allowed on post. It’s located right behind the NCO Club and is a great out-of-the-way place to hang out and get in some great exercise. It’s not overcrowded and is super easy to access. I definitely recommend checking it out. I gave a 4 Star Review only because maintenance does not appear to be a priority ie: some broken concrete, and the water fountain does not work. Hope this helps!

I was trying to go shred and the men in suits stopped me and told me the park was for soldiers only. No civilians. I don't understand why they would try to keep civilians and soldiers from interacting at a skate park. Why do they have the skate park on the base and why is it on Google for civilians to find it?
