Awesome concrete public skatepark. I couldn't believe it from reading the maps so we had to come out and see the skatepark for ourselves and yes it's very nice. This park is for skateboarding only however I have seen kids show up and ride their scooters and bicycles. It should not be an issue as long as whoever kid or adult are wearing their helmets there shouldn't be any discrepancies. Ride at your own risk. Here you you find a nice elaborate bowl to skate with two sides. One side is the big bowl , opposite side is more like a pump style with options to do tricks if you have enough experience. This side is honestly for the more experienced riders that can handle themselves. Opposite side of the bowl you will find two more areas semi connected. Mid section kind of connects from the deck and allows you to ride into and skate a more mild area of the skatepark. The mid section is more flat land style with small stairs to jump also a few handrails for some grinding. Couple of boxes and a small grind rail if you just want to practice some new tricks to build up more confidence. Far left is another part of the skatepark but seems mostly intended for beginners. This area would be ideal for anyone with low amounts of experience. This will give you great opportunities to practice and hone your skills while staying safe. Remember don't forget your helmet, kneepads, elbow pads , wrist guards. This is a concrete skatepark after all. 😃✌️ Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. Parking is available next to the park. Thanks for stopping by and have a super terrific day 😎

The bowls are the best part of the park. The flow of the bowls rivals larger parks on the west coast. The street section is poorly designed and has very little flow to it. There's a few nicely placed boxes, ledges, and kickers, but literally 1 line at a time, nothing flows well, nothing transitions well. There's a lot of room in the park for expansion, but this doesn't seem to be in the City's budget. The skatepark has 2 wings, on either side of the main park, that would be great for additional structures to the park. There's many dangerous and dated DIY additions to the park ( I respect skaters spending their own money to build ramps, it's just hard to maintain wood in a humid climate). The two Wings would be great for a beginners section. The 2 areas are littered with poorly poured DIY concrete ramps, and wood boxes. If the City would put in a manual pad, and combo box with 2 large quarter pipes or tall kickers in each wing, this park would be complete.
