This is a mixed review, but I'm giving it 5 stars anyway. The locals here were some of the kindest I've met in my travels. Had some of the most sincere conversations while skating here. Truly genuine people, and a very safe and secure feeling from the patrons. A true family feeling to the park. From a technical skateboard perspective, it's a very poorly designed park. Very poorly maintained by the City. Any and all additions to the park have been through DIY projects, that local skaters have spent their own money on. Some of the boxes, quarter pipes, rails etc are all hand made out of wood and cider blocks. Everything is worn down to the bottom of every poor skaters wallet. This being said, the park has a certain vibe, that is still enjoyable. Just watch out for nails and screws from the DIY projects. The City really needs to get out and fund some additional structures for the park. Still fun.

Pros are that it's a nice open area, off the main road, near a Greenway trail. Cons are that there is a lot of trash under the ramps and the fence is torn and looks bad. There is a lot of graffiti which looks a little rough too.

We went to see the baby owls on the walking trail. It was nice.
