I am not a skater, but my daughter is beginning. This place seemed to provide a great environment for that purpose. There were various features for more advanced skating, but there were also gentle slopes for beginners. AND, it was not too crowded, which right now is a great plus for me!

Was this park made by the same people who designed the layout? Why do all the features seem to be in the most awkward places either having no run up or being entirely too short or tall. Seems like good intentions were put into this park but the flow and features are garbage. There is not one obstacle in this park that actually makes sense or worth doing more than one trick on. All respect to the young man this park was made after but College Station really didn’t seem to care on this one(Not surprised since this town lacks creativity). If you are a beginner or small child than this is the park for you. If you actually skate you are better off finding spots on Texas A&M campus or Bryan Park.
