Orem Skate Park

I think your experience here is dependent on a couple of things - how old you are, what you're going for, and how crowded it is. If you're a little kid going to have a little fun, you'll probably have fun but be a little intimidated by all the big kids doing big tricks and all the people everywhere. If you're a big kids going to shred like Tony Hawk, you'll probably get annoyed with all the little kids puttering around on their scooters and all the people everywhere. So, if you go with that understanding, and are willing to dodge little or big) kids, this place is awesome. The bathrooms are closed probably because of too much drug use. There's graffiti on them. The water to the drinking fountain is shut off. I wish it was a bit nicer and worked a little better for everyone, but I think it just comes with the territory of being one of very few good skate parks in the area.

Great transition park, little weird at first but easy to get use too, odd flow but once you find one you can do laps and runs all day. Has 2 stair sets, one hand rail on one stair, a bunch of ledges from beginner to advanced, 2 regular square rails, one oval bowl (very odd to skate and not the best transition but easy to get use too). Locals are very friendly and helpful, the advanced will help beginners with anything and love to share advice. Just a friendly vibe park that is fun wether your just going to hang out or to go skate

I'm a local at Orem and it's a pretty nice park, the only problem there can be a lot of kids in the way, so if you are bringing your kids make sure they have skatepark etiquette. there also have been times were a dance group and a prom group and did dances and pictures which got in the way alot, overall cool park locals are nice
