West Valley City Skatepark

This is a pretty amazing skatepark located in West Valley city. The skate park is large has many different features and terrain. There is a good flow on several different sides of the park even though it was crowded you could still ride and not worry about slamming into anyone. The park does need some more shade there are only about three trees around the skate park and several awnings over the benches but it could use much more. We had a great time here spent an entire afternoon riding and will come back another time in the future. There is also a push track next to the skate park which is fun to ride and gives some variation.

I have skated a lot of parks in my day, and this is easily one of the most boring. Lots of snake runs, small tranny, and virtually no coping. Good for beginners I would assume. The day I was there was not crowded, but there was also no shade. When the park is that big and no one skates anything but the flat bar you did it wrong

The good: tons of different features, massive park, and lights for the night time.. There is also a bike pump track that you can get rowdy on with soft wheels. Lots of families here, so it's imperative to look every direction when sending through the park. Also can become a little over crowded because of this, but the community seems to bring positivity with it. No shade during the day, though, so my advice is come when it is cloudy or in the evening. Lights stay on til 10
