Powhatan Springs Skate Park

I love this park. But the old guys that go there on the weekend think they own the place. They come in and put all their stuff on obstacles that people are actively skating and they’re rude when you ask them to move. The guy in my picture said “this is where we congregate, I’ve been skating here 20 years I’ve never moved for anyone” meanwhile the skatepark is only 9 years old lol. These dudes are a problem

This skatepark was one of the most skateparks I personally like, first of all, it is clean and very smooth after the new pavement (which I really appreciate), and also this skatepark is probably the most environmentally controlled skatepark. Out of every single skatepark I ever went to, this one was the most one I found respectable. This skatepark is also very big and includes many different possible trick combos for skateboards and scooters. The only thing I was worried about was that really, really, really, deep pump track that which was about like 15 feet deep or more (I actually don’t really know how deep it actually is because I did not have the courage to look honestly). Imagine if some family comes and they have small children that somehow trip in, also there is no way out, it is just a 15 foot deep bowl that has no openings or anything else. If you are coming here with your family I just hope that you should just keep an eye on your children. I don’t mind having this bowl, but i would deeply appreciate if it was open or it had some kind of guard that won’t let kids in. Anyways, this park was probably the best skatepark I ever went to.
