Best skate park in all of RVA, hands down, easy. Enjoy it while you can, before long from now the addition of a playground will soon have this excellent beautiful skate park functionality unskateable once traffic of youngins skyrockets… their absence was the only thing that made this park the so skateable. Sad to see it go… hope the community garden keeps it vibrancy once it’s greatly reduced to make room for the playground… :,( soon to have the fate of every other skatepark in RVA…

It's a tiny piece of heaven. It's chill, free, safe from business owners and concerned property managers sending in authorities to get skateboarding to stop. The skateboarders have created an alliance that the authorities respect and provide assistance to with helping structure a safe and supportive environment for skateboarding culture to thrive outside the city limitations allowing more freedom to create and skate without burdening the city business owners, urban pedestrian traffic and personal safety. It's a radical concept.
