D.I.Y skate park. It keeps growing. Parenrs bring their children and there is a lot of camaraderie. It is worth a visit if you are learning to skateboard or just trying to find new people that share your interests.

One thing that I've come to realize in this "pandemic era" is how remarkable the power of community is. I believe if only "the powers that be" offered space to groups space, instead of trying to squelch them out, we'd accomplish many objectives. It could create spaces like this that become self sustaining, where community members find pride and foster that forward to others. Those of us outside the community gain understanding and see the beauty that's created from the other's experience. I'm glad to have found out about this space and thank those responsible for its existence.
