PARKS WERE CREATED FOR CHILDREN. So as a skater and mom myself i welcome them, we were all kids once. Don't let people discourage you from bringing kids. There are two parks in one area, there is a street side and a small transitional/verti side. The concrete is very smooth. Which i like, it's less wear down on your wheels. At night the street side is illuminated by a couple lights not too bright but decent enough to skate. The transitional side not so much light. Love that this is right across from the space needle, play ground, and museum and plenty of other attractions. The only downside is that there is NO BATHROOM! Otherwise I'd give a 5 star.
