I'm not a skateboarder and until today, have never been in a skatepark so I'll offer photos for those of you more in the know about such places. The Goodman Skatepark is on the east side of McPike Park, one of Madison's 270 city parks.

Goodman skate park is a very, very fine place. I've made good friends here, close enough to be family, seen beautiful sun sets, and have had good times and bad.

Great park, gets a little trashed over night so a lot of cleanup for the early sessions. Lots of street obstacles, a couple nice pools. Ledges and rails...pretty good park
